Peninsula km 50.4 to km 66.4, September 21, 2016

This section starts at the parking area on Jackson's Cove Road
and ends at the parking area on County Rd #9 in Barrow Bay.

Weather was overcast but nice hiking weather.

This was my (Case) last hike to complete the Bruce Trail End to End.
We were accompanied in the picture by Karen our very competent organizer
and hike leader who is responsible for my success in this adventure.
Unfortunately she was unable to hike with us but acted as our car jockey..
Bill and Steve, our co-leader, joined me in the hike.

"Hey, Steve, what's this interesting green ground cover?"

The Trail follows the scarp east to a pair of beautiful lookoutd.

The Trail descends by stairs to the rocky shoreline of the beautiful
Chris Walker Nature Reserve at Rush Cove

The Trail follows Rush Cove Road to Scenic Caves Road.

We then follow County Road #9 to Barrow Bay.

Some prime real estate

The last few steps and a dash across the finish line as recorded by ESPN*
Wow 885 km in only 21 months

What a feeling ... thanks Steve !
Back to the cabin for (a) glass of bubbly, a wonderful meal prepared by Pam and Kathy
