We hiked this section from West to East to have the wind in our back while road
walking. The weather was abt. -5C and somewhat cloudy.

and Mike. A large Persian cat checked us out, Steve wanted to call him Bob.

We hike the Lewis Road Access Trail, 480 m,
a steep climb halfway up the escarpment to the Bruce Trail.
We follow the Trail through a predominately hardwood forest towards Fifty Road.
Another climb to the top of the escatpment.

The Beamer Memorial Conservation Area, perfect spot for lunch.
The tower is used to observe the Hawk migration into Ontario in the spring.

We follow the Forty Mile Creek down the Trail.
The Trail comes off the Escarpment in the Town of Grimsby

The creek is the boundry between the Niagara and Iroquoia Sections.
