Caledon - Forks of the Credit - June 21st, 2018

We began our hike on Chinguacousy Rd (2.7 km) and finished at Willoughby Rd. (16.0 km) for a 13.3 km hike.

It was a sunny cool day for the hike with Eric, Annette, Ron, Michael, Fran, Nancy, Marleen, Stefan, and Steve the photographer along for the hike.

The hike heads down a hill and into a thick forest.

The trail soon widens to a gravel road.

Stefan was trying to reach his friend but they didn't respond to his call.

Stefan found another banana peel to pick up.  Where is Ann when we need her?

After a short road walk we were back into the forest.

The view up the Credit River valley from the Devil's Pulpit.

The descent frrom the Devil's Pulpit wasn't everyone's favourite moment of the hike, but we all got down successfully.

The descent continued.

A much needed break before we continued the descent.

What better place for the Bridge Picture than over the Forks of the Credit.

The Forks of the Credit

Our Lunch stop by the river.

After a climb out of valley, the Trail follows the crest where we passed Horsetail.

The trail runs very close to the Valley crest.

The cars were a welcoming sight at the end of today's hike.
