Today's hike was 16.3 km from the heart of Hockley Valley to the end of the Caledon Section. Eight of us showed up in less than promising weather conditions but by the time we were ready to hike, the rain had stopped, never to return. Hikers included, Ron B., Brian, Marleen, Arpi (welcome back!) Sandra, David, Steve and Boyd (behind the camera).
We accessed the main trail via the Peter Beecham side trail and soon started a descent into a valley to cross one of many streams today.
The Trail passes along the top of Hockley Valley Ski Resort with great vistas.
The Trail follows along the edge of the Hockley Valley Golf Course.
We checked out a new short side trail to get a glimpse of a local vineyard.
The Trail follows 2nd Line EHS with a descent into Hockley Valley.
We are soon back up on the north side of the Valley.

After a short road walk the Trail heads up the Escarpment.

At the bottom of the Escarpment was a brief road walk to our cars and then off home after a great hike.
