 The mandatory 'bridge picture'

We couldn't find a log long enouth for 17 hikers.

An abandoned Lime Kiln.
The last third of the hike was spent trying to avoid the mud.

Next time you take a 'bush break you might just check around for one of these.

Iroquoia #8 Fisher Access 78.8 km to Mt. Nemo 91.7 km, April 10, 2017

Parked a car at Mt Nemo and drove to Fisher Access Trail to start the hike.
Today's hikers; Fran, Steve taking the lead; Leslie, David and our photog, Case.
Notably absent today is Ron, an aficionado of that dangerous sport of recreational biking. He will join us once he recovers from his latest encounter with the pavement.

We encountered this device as we crossed Guelph Line.
There was a similar device on the other side. Anyone know what it might be.

There was a fair bit of road walking on this section.
These are for you Ron ..... what are they?
We enjoyed our elevensies with some of the earliest pioneers of this area.
 The 'Stairway to Heaven'
We weren't the only ones enjoying the warm Spring weather.
The Turkey Vulters were out in full force.

On a clear day you can see Toronto.

The Hand seems to be giving us the Bird...... translation
Did you Idiots not look at the weather forecast?
 Crawford Lake

Again the Turkey Vultures looking for the straggling hikers.
The rain has started and we stop for an equipment adjustment.

Our resident Botanist suggests they are Hepatica.

We were lucky to have Mary Poppins as our sweep today
We finally gave up looking for a nice dry spot for Elevensies

We were all pretty well drenched when we arrived at the cars.
