Niagara #6 Mountainview Conservation Area 70.6 km to Forty Mile Creek 80.4 km, March 15, 2017

 We parked at the Mountainview Conservation Area lot on
 Mountainview Road and hiked to Forty Mile Creek in Grimsby.
 Today's hikers, Case; Stefan; Steve, our leader; Annette; Eric; Fran and Ron.
 Half way up the first hill we realized icers would be a nessessity on this hike.

 The temp today was not bad at -5C but last weekends snow was 
causing some difficulties.

After a rather trying hike we arrive at Forty Mile Creek.

Iroquoia #7 Snake Road 67.6 km to The Fisher Access Trail 78.8 km, March 9, 2017

 We parked two cars on the shoulder of road where the Bruce Trail
 crosses Snake Road and hiked to the Junction of the Fisher Access
 Trail which took us to the cars we left on Springer Cresent earlier.
 Today's hikers, Steve our leader; Mike; Fran; Christine; Ron; John;
 Stefan; Marian; Annette; Eric; Ann and Case.
 The temperature hovered around 0C and we had sunny intervals.
 As the morning wore on the trial became progressively muddier.

 We ascend the escarpment along the Grindstone Creek
 The Grindstone Falls were spectacular due to the Spring run-off water.
 It's rare to get a picture of a Troll coming out in the daytime.

 Occasionally there are natural obstacles on the Trail

Iroquoia #3 Felker's Falls 23.2 km to The Jolly Cut 34.1 km, March 2, 2017

 The hike started at Felker's Falls and ended at the top of the 
Jolly Cut on Hamilton Mountain.
 Today's hiker's; Steve; Rhonda, our newbie; Christine; Fran; Carol;
Mike; Ron; Ann, today's leader; Stefan and Case.

The weather was cool, -5C and a bit of a breeze.
 The Trail follows the brow of the Escarpment towards Hamilton.

 We pass under the Red Hill Valley Parkway

 We climb our first set of stairs.

Toronto #3 Limehouse 21.3 km to 27 Sideroad at 8th Line 31.9 km, Feb 23, 2017

The hike started at Limehouse and ended where the Trail crosses 27 Sideroad
 just west of 8th Line. Limehouse Lillie was right, it was a beautiful
 springlike day with the temperature reaching +18C.
