Peninsula #12, Little |Cove 158.3 km to The Cairn at Tobermory 166.4; June 28, 2018


The weather was spectacular again as we struck out from Little Cove to the Cairn, a short 7 km hike.
 Today's hikers; Stefan; Steve our leader; Rhonda; Ron; Karen; Fran; Nancy; Marleen; Annette; Eric; Case; Mike and Richard.
Mike and Richard joined us last night and plan to hike from Horse Lake to the Cairn today.

 Fran, Rhonda, Ron and Case took a couple of hours to visit Flowerpot Island
 First we visited Big Tub harbour to view a couple of sunken shipwrecks.
 This wreck is The Sweepstakes which caught fire and was sunk in 1907.

Peninsula #11, Halfway Dump 141.5 km to Little Cove 158.3 km; June 26, 2018


It was a beautiful day for a hike, we parked at the Emmett Lake Parking Lot and hiked about 1 km to the Trail
 Today's hikers; Steve, our leader; Rhonda; Ron; Karen; Fran; Nancy; Marleen; Annette; Eric; Case; Ann and Stefan.
