Toronto - 6th Line to Winston Churchill, June 1st 2017

The weather was perfect for hiking as Christine, Fran, Annette , Stefan and Steve set off on a 15 km hike.

We passed some Llamas on the first few kilometers of the hike.

After 2 km of road walking we re-entered the forest with a series of boardwalks.

We passed along the fields of Scotsdale Farm.

And crossed a number of small creeks.  Is Fran pushing Stefan off the Bridge?

Annette explaining to Christine which way to go.

A much appreciated water break after a series of hills.

Is this a proverbial June Bug on June 1st?

An aboriginal Direction Tree?

Time for elevensies.

Back on the Trail again

Soon we arrived at the Silver Creek Conservation Area.

A look out over the Valley.

The trail started to get muddy.

We passed a beautiful pond and home.

Pretty yellow flowers, a Burl, and a what?? for Ron.

The ladies stop for a photo op.

The last stile and almost back to the cars.
