We started on Twiss Road and followed the Main Trail through Crawford lake C.A. and through to Rattlesnake Point C.A..  We returned on the Leech Porter ST and Crawford Lake ST to rejoin the main trail back to Twiss Road for a total of 15.3 km hike with 9.3 km being on the Main Trail.

Ten of us started the hike including Arpi, Sandra, Marleen, David, Ken, Doug, Ron, Michael, Brian and Steve the photographer.

The Trail crosses Twiss Road and then rises up to the Escarpment.

Upon reaching the top the Trail winds through the forest until the inevitable decline.

Iroquoia - Felker's Falls (23.2 km) to Kenilworth Mtn Access (30.8 km) - October 22nd, 2020

We started from Felker's falls and hiked the Main Trail west to where the main trail meets the Rail Trail at Kenilworth Mtn Access totaling 7.6 km.  We then returned on the Rail Trail to the top of the Escarpment and followed the Mountain Brow ST back to the Main for a total 17 km hike.

There were eight of us on the hike including Doug, Ken (Photographer), Sandra, Arpi, Marleen, Nancy, Brian (Photographer) and Steve (Photographer) and all were ready to play.  It was cool and threatening rain but we stayed dry this week as we headed off to see Felker's Falls.

Felker's Falls was in full flow and the colours looking down the valley were spectacular.

Off we went along the top of the Escarpment.

We passed under the Red Hill Parkway with its ever changing Graffiti enhancing the graceful curves of the road above.

Back into the forest on the other side.

Our Bridge picture across Red Hill Creek

The Trail follows along the slope of the Escarpment with numerous small hills with wet, rocky terrain.

Crossing the old ski hill offered a break from the rough terrain but we were soon back into it.
