Caledon - 5th Line EHS (52.3 km) to Hockley Rd (61.3 km) and return - July 15th, 2021

We parked our cars at 5th Line EHS parking lot and hiked up the Hemlock Ridge ST to the Main Trail which we followed to 3rd Line EHS.  Due to the Bridge being out on 2nd Line EHS, the Main Trail had been re-routed to north on 3rd Line and west on Hockley Rd.  We made a side trip to the top of Hockley Valley Ski Hill for our elevensies before returning on the Main Trail and the Griffiths Ravine ST. 

We had ten hikers out today including Doug. Richard, Annette, Ken (photographer), Barbara, Brian, Marleen, Arpi, Ron (photographer), and Steve.

The hike begins with a climb up to the main Trail.

We regrouped at the top on 5th Line EHS.

The Trail today was very hilly as we soon discovered.

An abandoned car that was worth exploring.

Griffiths Ravine ST avoided a number of hills.

A quick rest before starting up one last hill or maybe one more hill.
