Dufferin - Rock Hill BT Car park (29.4 km) to 30th Sideroad (13.3) - July 29th, 2021

Eleven of us showed up for a 16.1 km hike through the Boyne River Valley.
Hikers were braving the rain as we started off with Ken (our photographer), Barbara, Doug, Sandra, Steve, Marleen, Arpi, Annette, Brian and Richard all appropriately attired in rain gear.

The Trail initially passes through from some fields but soon rises up into a forest.

The rain stopped after a few minutes and a quick stop for a clothing adjustment.

The rain hadn't dampened our spirits.

The Trail follows 2nd Line for a few 100 metres before entering the forest again.

We had elevensies at Mulmur Lookout after completing 7.6 km of the hike.

Back on the Trail through some lush fields.

The Trail crosses 1st Line and enters Boyne Valley Provincial Park.

We found some raspberry bushes along the way.

Climbing up Murphy's Pinnacle and the resulting view.

Brian crossing the Boyne River.

The last 2 km were road walking but with some interesting sights along the way.

Arpi, having completed the Dufferin Section, gets the respect of the hikers.
