Blue Mountain - 9/10 Sideroad Nottawasaga (14.1 km) to 1st line EHS and 30 Sideroad (53.9 km Dufferin) - Sept. 2nd, 2021

Today's hike was a 16.5 km hike through varying terrain that included three major river valleys.  The hike completed the Dufferin Section for Barbara, Brian, and Ken as well as completing the Blue Mountain Section for Brian.

The weather today was spectacular with clear cool skies.  The weather brought out the photographer in everyone with lots of great pictures this week. The nine Hikers today included, Nancy, Marleen, Barbara, Doug, Annette, Sandra, Brian, Ron and Ken.

The hike began with a pleasant stroll through and alongside rolling fields.

The hike leaders consult as to where they are going.

Back into the fields.

A stile to cross before a little road walking.

A further consultation at a cross road.

An old school house bringing back memories to some?

The group encounters Ann and Fran hiking the other way.

Elevensies by a creek.

The Trail looks like it could use some maintenance with the weeds overgrowing the route.

Sandra as sweep taken just after calling everyone back as they had missed a turn in the Trail.

A stop to talk to the guys rebuilding the bridge over the Noisy River.

Between the building noise and the river. Brian couldn't hear himself think.

The new Bridge with photo kindly taken by the builders.

The Trail passes a small lake.

Run Marleen!

Some candid on the Trail pictures

An old Inn along the Trail.

One last consultation before the final stretch to the cars and the celebration for Brian, Barbara, and Ken.
